Maybelline Colorshow Nail Enamel - Mint Mojito

Mint has never been my favorite flavour or my favourite colour. I just don't like it, neither its chutney nor mint in my food. But once in a while in life you come across such things which change your perception.

Maybelline has launched some of the most unconventional colors in this Colorshow range.  It has launched amazing nudes and other offbeat colors at such an affordable range. This nail paint range has become a necessity in every girl's kitty. So, here I am reviewing other uncommon and my many of the one favourite colors from this range - Mint Mojito.

My views-
Maybelline has been successful not only in winning a girl's heart  by the awesome nail color shades but also by its packaging and product quality. The small cute bottle is not only attractive but also made of thick glass which makes it accident safe.
Coming to the shade, Mint Mojito is a beautiful green color.
Pigmentation wise, this shade requires 2 coats to get the perfect color. I have noticed that most of the lighter shades in this range require 2 coats to get the desired color and for darker colors a single swipe is enough. After 2 swipes, Mint Mojito gives a glossy finish. But the finish is not completely and overtly glossy. It just has a stubble gloss effect. This range has made me love nail paints with a matte finish. But I still do feel that it would look better with a glossy finish.

A minus point of this shade is that it will look lovely only on fair and medium skin tones. Dark skin tones may not find the color too good on them. So, this limits the choice option. The shade does not contain even a bit of shimmer, its plain color with the gloss effect.
Not to forget the bristle quality is quite good. Lighter skin tones like this need a proper and neat application. So, a good brush with dense bristles is a must. And this brush fulfills that promise. The shade does not chip off easily and stays for a good 4-5 days similar to other shades in this range. Also, the shade is quite easily removed by a remover.  The range of Colorshow Nailenamels  has a quick drying formula making it a go-to range .

Pros-
1. Widely available in stores as well as online sites
2.  Pricing is consumer friendly
3. Packaging and brush quality impressive
4. Bright summery shade
5. Matte finish
6. Does not chips off easily
7. Quick drying formula
8. Can be easily worn off by remover

Cons-
1. This shade will not suit dusky and dark skin tones.

Rating- A++

Final words-

This shade is really to die for. I am sure the trendy off-beat color is not one to be forgotten easily once someone sees it on your nails.  The bright leaf green is sure to make your day on a bright sunny day. So, girls don't wait. Get ready to flaunt your nails with this beautiful young color which will make you feel weak on your nails !
